Editorial policy and corrections

Applying to a closed call or ruling yourself out over a misread limit costs money. This page says where each figure comes from and what we do when something goes wrong.

Order of sources

  1. Rules published in the BOE, in their consolidated text: Royal Decree 42/2022, Royal Decree 326/2026, Law 31/2022, Income Tax Act 35/2006, Royal Decree-law 29/2026;
  2. Calls and rules published in each region's official gazette, and their summaries in the National Grants Database;
  3. Official pages of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda, the regional e-government sites and the Spanish Tax Agency, for what the rules leave out.

We never use press, blogs or forums as the source of a figure or a date.

Review

Each figure lives in a single file with its source and reading date, and each rule has automated tests. Full review at least every 12 months, sooner when a rule changes or a call is published. Last review: 26 October 2026.

Corrections

If you report a mistake, we check it against the source and fix it within a few days. Substantive corrections show in the page's update date.

Independence

The site has no advertisers shaping content, no affiliate links and no deals with agencies or estate agents. We collect no contact details and sell nothing.
