Prepared by Radif Partners · Method · Rules read in the BOE and the regional gazettes on 26 October 2026

The Region of Murcia ran its second Bono Alquiler Joven call under an order summarised in BORM no. 60 on 13 March 2025 and amended a month later. The window until 30 June 2025 and there has been no new call, so there is no open Bono in 2026. The budget was 8.8 million euros. The national rules applied: up to 35 years old, income up to 3 times the IPREM and 250 euros a month; the summary sets no local rent caps, and Murcia is not among the regions that agreed to raise the cap to 900 euros. The interesting part is still to come: in January 2026 the regional development department put a draft order for regional youth rent aid, paid from its own funds, out to public consultation, aimed among others at people who missed the Bono because the money ran out. There is still no final order or window. There is no Murcia call under the 2026-2030 State Plan either.

The Bono in Murcia: two calls and none in 2026

The regional development and infrastructure department ran the Bono through two successive calls. The second was published in BORM no. 60 of 13 March 2025 and closed on 30 June that year, with 8.8 million euros. The full rules sit on the regional e-government site, which is not always easy to access; the summary sets no local rent cap, so the sensible assumption is the general one in Royal Decree 42/2022, €600 for a flat and €300 for a room. Murcia is not among the regions that agreed the 900 euro cap with the Ministry.

A regional aid in the pipeline

In January 2026 the regional government published a notice of public consultation on a draft order for youth rent aid paid from its own funds. The draft mentions people up to 35, income up to 3 times the IPREM, or 5 with a recognised disability, and rents up to 600 euros, 300 for a room. One of its ideas is to top up people who applied for the Bono, met every condition and were left out because the money ran out. Until the order is published, none of this can be claimed.

With those caps, a 600 euro rent would fit both the Bono and the State Plan youth aid. See how much each would pay:

In the meantime

We found no Murcia call under the 2026-2030 State Plan in the BORM or in the National Grants Database. What helps now is having a lease with a clear rent, an up-to-date padrón registration and your employment record ready, because the Plan youth aid and the regional aid may open at short notice. To buy in a small town, Annex IV sets a maximum price in Murcia of €250,000.

Common questions

When did the last youth rent bonus close in Murcia?

The second Murcia call closed on 30 June 2025. Its summary appeared in the BORM on 13 March 2025 and a later order amended it in April; the exact opening date cannot be worked out from the published text. Since then the department has not opened another call, neither for the Bono nor for the State Plan aids.

What does Murcia's draft regional youth rent aid include?

The draft put to public consultation in January 2026 mentions people up to 35, income up to 3 times the IPREM (5 with a disability of at least 33%) and rents up to 600 euros, or 300 for a room. It also aims to top up people who applied for the Bono and lost out for lack of funds. It is a draft and may change.

Can I already apply for Murcia's new youth rent aid?

No. As of late October 2026 the final order has not been published in the BORM, so there is no form and no window. Figures reported in the press have no official backing yet. When the order appears, we will add it to the calls calendar with its real opening date and amounts.
