Prepared by Radif Partners · Method · Rules read in the BOE and the regional gazettes on 26 October 2026
The Autonomous City of Ceuta published the rules and call for the Bono Alquiler Joven in BOCCE no. 6,600 of 17 March 2026. It was a direct award: from 18 March, eligible applications were approved one after another until the 300,000 euro budget was spent. The money ran out and the city published the closure in BOCCE no. 6,633 of 10 July 2026; the list of rejected applications came out on 21 July. The rent cap was the raised one, 900 euros for a flat and 450 for a room, and the income limit had a useful rule for people sharing a flat: 3 times the IPREM for one person, 4 for two young tenants and 5 for three or more. The amount was the national one, 250 euros a month for 24 months. There is now no rent aid open in Ceuta, and the 2026-2030 State Plan has no call in the city yet. The calculator shows what you would have been entitled to.
Four months of open counter
BOCCE no. 6,600 of 17 March 2026 brought together rules and call. Unlike regions that set a fixed window and decide afterwards, Ceuta opened a rolling counter 18 March 2026 to 10 July 2026: you could apply on any day until the money ran out. With 300,000 euros and up to €6,000 per person over two years, the budget covered just over a hundred young people on the full Bono. The procedure record is in the National Grants Database. Applying early mattered more here than anywhere else, since a file completed in June competed for whatever was left after three months of approvals.
The rules Ceuta applied
The basis is Royal Decree 42/2022: age up to 35, €250 a month and rent up to €900 for a flat or €450 for a room, the maximum article 8 allows. What is specific to Ceuta is the stepped income limit for flats shared by young people: if two of you sign the lease, you can earn up to 4 times the IPREM together, and with three or more, up to 5. Check where your income stands:
Your income in IPREM multiples
Your income in IPREM multiples
2.5 ×
| Monthly IPREM | €600 |
| Yearly IPREM, 12 payments | €7,200 |
| Yearly IPREM, 14 payments | €8,400 |
Remember that the IPREM that counts is the 14-payment one, which came to €8,400 a year in 2025. A single person earning a gross 24,000 euros was within the limit; two flatmates earning 18,000 euros each were too, thanks to the 4 times rule.
What may come next
The State allocated 800,000 euros to Ceuta for 2026 under the 2026-2030 State Plan, more than twice what the Bono had. The city has not yet opened the youth aid, up to €300 a month, or the general aid. For youth home purchases in small towns, Annex IV sets a maximum price of €250,000 in Ceuta, although the city is far above the 10,000 population limit that aid requires.
