In the Valencian Community the 2026 Bono Alquiler Joven was called by a Resolution of 18 August 2026, published in DOGV no. 10434 on 21 August, and the fifteen-working-day application window ran 24 August 2026 to 11 September 2026. The regional e-government site now shows it as closed. The aid is the national 250 euros a month for 24 months, for under-36s with income up to 3 times the IPREM, but it is awarded competitively until the money runs out: 29.8 million, of which the regional government put in 7 million of its own. The rent cap depends on the zone: 900 euros in València, 800 in Alicante, Castellón and the towns hit by the 2024 floods, 700 in other high-pressure areas and 650 elsewhere. There is no Valencian call yet under the 2026-2030 State Plan. If you missed out, the calculator shows which other aid fits your situation.
A short call with the region's own money
The regional government approved the rules and the call in a single text, published in DOGV no. 10434, later corrected twice. The window lasted fifteen working days and awards are competitive: applications are ranked and paid until the money runs out. On top of the 22.8 million sent by the Ministry, the Generalitat added 7 million of its own funds, which few regions do. The procedure sits on the Generalitat e-government site.
The rent cap goes by zone
The Valencian Community is one of the regions that agreed with the Ministry to raise the general €600 cap, and it did so in steps. València city goes up to €900 (room €450); Alicante, Castellón and the flood-hit towns to 800; other high-pressure areas to 700; and the rest of the region stays at 650. Before assuming you qualify, check which zone your town is in: a 750 euro rent passes in Alicante and fails in an inland village.

If you were left without aid in 2025 for lack of funds
Decree 75/2026 of 29 May granted direct aid of up to twelve months to people who applied for rent aid in 2025 and were turned down only because the money ran out. It was not an open call: the beneficiaries were listed in an annex and had one month from publication to accept. That deadline has passed.
What is still missing: the 2026-2030 State Plan
The last Valencian general rent aid belonged to the previous plan, for 2025, with a window in July and August of that year. For the 2026-2030 State Plan we found no call in the DOGV or in the National Grants Database. Once it is published, the youth aid of up to 300 euros will accept rents up to €1,000 and count only your own income. To buy in a small town, Annex IV sets a maximum price here of €250,000.
