How to read the table

For each region we show three aids: the Bono Alquiler Joven under Royal Decree 42/2022 and the two rent aids of the 2026-2030 State Plan, youth and general. "Open" means the application window was running on the reading day; "closed" means the latest call has ended; "no call published yet" means we found none in the gazette or in the National Grants Database. The window is the one set by the call; if it closed early for lack of money, the region page says so.

The Bono year in each region

The State shares out the Bono money and each region opens its call at its own pace. In 2026, Andalusia, Asturias, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Castile-La Mancha, Catalonia, Ceuta, Valencian Community, Extremadura opened and closed their windows. Others still rely on calls from earlier years, now closed: Aragon, Cantabria, Castile and León, Galicia, Melilla, Murcia. Some did not open a new window but added money to an earlier call, so only people who had already applied benefit. That is why it pays to apply as soon as a window opens, even if a document is missing and has to be supplied later.

Regional schemes still open

Besides the national aids, several regions run their own schemes with an open window: Cantabria, Galicia, Madrid region, Navarre, Basque Country. Some can be combined with the Bono and others cannot; each region page explains. In the Basque Country and Navarre they are the only route, because article 2 of Royal Decree 42/2022 and article 1.5 of Royal Decree 326/2026 leave them out.

What to do if your region is closed

First, check whether you meet the Plan youth aid, which will arrive when your region opens it. Second, look at the national income tax rent deduction, which does not depend on any call. Third, keep your file ready: short windows of five or fifteen working days leave no time to request certificates.
